What is the App Source Feature?
With Safehouse, App Source feature, you can see where every app on your device originates without researching. App Source enables users to identify the origin country of all apps on their device.
If apps made in a particular country are suddenly deemed unsafe, app source is your first stop. With app source, you can quickly and easily be aware if your device has any apps from a specific location. It allows users to clearly identify the country of origin for every app on their phone, classify whether those apps are suspicious, and block or delete them as they see fit.
How do I Enable the App Source Feature?
Under the button that activates VPN, there is a section titled “features.” This is where you will click on the app lock feature. From there, a complete list of the apps on your device will generate.
The country in which the app was developed is found next to the name and image of the app. The feature gives you the option to uninstall the app on the spot, by simply clicking “uninstall” if you choose. In times that apps developed in certain countries are deemed as threatening, the country will show up in red, signaling that it may be dangerous to have on your device. The app lock feature is only available on Android devices.
